Recreational Parkland

Recent demand has been high due to increased interest from growing numbers of retirees looking for recreational property. There are two distinctive qualities this huge demographic is looking for when searching for recreational property. They are looking for property that is close to lakes and close to Riding Mountain National Park. Over the last few years, a number of parcels have been sold as recreational land in the local area. There is a LIMITED amount of property that has BOTH qualities - Luxsole Farms' three parcels, NW 36-18-18W, NE 36-18-18W, NW 31-18-17W, exceed all expectations where these qualities are concerned.

These three parcels have many outstanding and unique features that make them exceptional recreational property. Combined, they have 1.5 miles of property line directly abutting the Park, allowing primary access to all sorts of wildlife. There are established populations of moose, elk, bear, white-tail deer, lynx, bobcat and many other species.

As seen on www.luxsole.com/farms, each quarter-section consists of rows approximately 50-75 metres wide that were created over 40 years ago. These strips have now grown back to open meadow and young, mixed deciduous and coniferous forest. These alternate with old-growth mixed forest, creating a unique environment perfect for wildlife viewing and hunting, hiking, photography, snowshoeing and camping.

NW 36-18-18W is mostly covered by South Pacey Lake, a spring-fed lake that is home to a few beavers, ducks, geese and a multitude of other waterfowl. It is an important food source for the local moose population and is ideal for canoeing, kayaking and wildlife viewing.
